Everything you need to know before traveling to Brazil
Can everything be done online before traveling?+
Yes. The evaluation consultation is conducted entirely by telemedicine. You only travel to São Paulo once the plan is finalized and the surgical date confirmed.
How long do I need to stay in São Paulo?+
Facelift or Blepharoplasty: 10–14 days. Mommy Makeover (abdominoplasty + breast + lipo): 14–21 days. Dr. Lucas authorizes the return flight only when recovery is genuinely safe for a long-haul journey.
Can pre-operative tests be done in my home country?+
Most lab work can be done at home and shared digitally. Some complementary tests may be requested upon arrival in São Paulo, depending on the clinical case.
How does post-operative follow-up work after I return home?+
Dr. Lucas conducts telemedicine follow-ups at defined intervals: 7 days, 30 days, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months after surgery. Direct WhatsApp access is available throughout for urgent questions.
What procedures are available for international patients?+
Deep Plane Facelift, Blepharoplasty, Mommy Makeover, Abdominoplasty, and Liposuction. Combined procedures are very common. Other procedures are evaluated case-by-case.
Does Dr. Lucas speak English?+
Dr. Lucas communicates in Portuguese and Spanish. His international patient coordinator speaks English and supports patients throughout the entire journey — from first consultation through full recovery.
How is payment handled?+
Fees and payment methods are presented during the online consultation. International bank transfer and other modalities are accepted. The coordinator provides full guidance.
